For the homework blog entry due today from the orange section in my Understanding Rhetoric book, I chose Drawing Conclusions number 4:
I think that the book uses Frederick Douglass as an example because he was so adamant about his pictures looking a certain way. Also, when he critiqued his photos and had them changed according to his will, you can see that his example was excellent because the changes in the pictures made such a huge difference. I think that the writers and illustrators of this book, chose the photo of him for that reason. You can really see the difference easily. I think, after a little research, that I would have chosen Frederick Douglas as well.
