I enjoyed this particular artist statement because the artist went into her history and gives the reader a little background on why she chose art. I think her story is very neat and I would love to have had the chances she had to see another culture. She speaks on her influences and what she loves doing. I think this statement is very successful in conveying why she is the great artist she is.
